PRF Biofiller is still PRF, so it’s made from your own blood, but we process it differently so it turns into a thicker, gel-like form.

That thicker texture gives the under-eye area soft support while improving tissue quality over time. This improves under eye hollows, dark circles, or tired-looking under eyes so they look more cushioned and refreshed without taking a heavy-handed approach.

PRF is a concentrated blood-derived treatment that uses your own platelets, fibrin, and growth factors to support tissue repair and collagen production. PRF Biofiller uses a similar blood-derived foundation, but we process it into a thicker, gel-like consistency so it can add soft, temporary support while still encouraging natural tissue improvement.

Yes, PRF is our preferred options for under-eye hollows, dark circles, and tired-looking eyes. The under-eye area is delicate, and not every patient is a good fit for direct under-eye filler. PRF gives us a way to support tissue quality, improve skin thickness, and soften the look of hollowing over time.

Most patients need a series. The exact number depends on the area treated, tissue quality, age, and the amount of correction we want to create. For under eyes and skin quality, many patients start with a series of 2-4 treatments, then maintain their results as needed.

PRF does not create an instant final result. You may notice swelling or fullness right after treatment, but that will settle. The real improvement develops gradually as your tissue responds to the growth factors and builds new collagen. Most patients start seeing changes within 4-8 weeks, with continued improvement over several months.

You may experience swelling, tenderness, bruising, redness, or mild firmness after your PRF injections. Under-eye swelling can look dramatic at first, but this will settle within 24-72 hours. Use a cold compress as directed, sleep with your head slightly elevated the first night, and avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas, facial massage, and pressure on the treated area for 24-48 hours.

Most patients are not ideal candidates for direct under-eye filler. The under-eye area has thin skin, frequent muscle movement, and very little room for error, so placing filler here can easily look puffy, uneven, or obvious. At ELEV8, we usually address under-eye hollowing by restoring cheek and temple support through facial balancing, then use PRF and/or PRF Biofiller Gel to improve the actual under-eye tissue, skin thickness, and collagen quality.

PRP and PRF both come from your own blood, but PRF contains a fibrin matrix that helps growth factors release more slowly over time. PRF also typically uses a slower spin process and does not require added anticoagulants, which makes it a strong option for gradual tissue repair, collagen support, and delicate areas like the under-eyes.
